Solja cafe

One of the few places in Leh to actually try Ladakhi food! A nice quiet place with friendly staff. We tried the paba and the pagthuk, both very nice, the paba especially is totally unique and I've never tried anything like it! Yum.

More than a cafe, besides the great healthy local food, had great conversations especially about traditional life and the impact of 'development' in the region. A must visit in Leh.

Authentic Ladakhi food. Traditional dishes made with fresh ingredients sourced from local farmers. Liked the personal interaction with Ms. Spalzes and motivated by her interest in making and serving healthy and rich food. Ambience, taste of food, authenticity is top notch. We went as a family of four ranging age groups from 10 years to 50 years and we all thoroughly enjoyed the delicacy of dishes

Nice little cafe where they prepare food with local ingredients, all fresh so bring some time to relax. Staff is very friendly. They are also involved with local NGOs, so ask them about recommendations of what to do and see in Ladakh.
