via GoogleIt’s a typical motel, meant for travelers. Basic amenities provided. I especially love the beautiful floor tiling in the bathroom. Clean, with a roaring air conditioning, it’s a |comfy relaxing stay. Breakfast served is simple, probably a re-pack from nearby market. Handed in a cute pinkish Tiffin Carrier, complimented with coffee or tea.||The motel is undergoing expansion plan, construction is underway.

via GoogleClean and spacious room with a clean bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. Snacks were provided at check-in and check-out. Convenient parking, and the hotel cats were very cute and welcoming.

via GoogleFunwan Hotel — Where the Road Is Greeted Kindly (Bikepacker’s Note) One detail that stays with you long after the legs recover is how Funwan welcomes the tired rider. Arriving dusty and sun-drained, you’re not handed paperwork first—you’re offered jasmine tea, lightly fragrant, cooling the body from the inside out. Alongside it comes a slice of carrot cake, humble and comforting, the kind of sweetness that feels earned after a long push on the road. It’s a small gesture, but for a bikepacker, it lands deep. It says: you’re safe here, rest now. Throughout the stay, that same quiet care continues. Your room waits cool and clean, your bike rests without question, and the night passes in genuine silence. Then, just when you think you’re rolling out unnoticed, Funwan sends you off the same way it welcomed you. At checkout, there’s a free croissant—warm, flaky, perfect to tuck into a jersey pocket or eat slowly with morning coffee before the first pedal stroke. Not a gimmick, not a promo—just a thoughtful goodbye. For those crossing towns on two wheels, these moments matter. Jasmine tea instead of forms. Cake instead of small talk. A croissant instead of a receipt-only farewell. Funwan Hotel understands the language of the road. And it speaks it gently.

via GoogleHonestly this place is insane value . We were greeted with 2x tasty coffee sponge cakes per person on arrival and when we departed they gave us a bag with 2x croissants each also. The rooms were great , WiFi , smart tv’s , very clean and comfortable beds , 3x towels PP, the shower and toiletries provided were excellent , kettle/ tea & coffee were also provided. The added bonus was the cafe/ bakery at reception with fresh baked goods and excellent menu for breakfast and lunch.
