A very cozy place where you can buy Taiwanese comics and eat a tasty sandwich while sipping a good tea or coffee! And the staff is also very kind and friendly🙏

Bask and Basket is a wonderful experience tucked in the Taichung national museum of comics. Museum goers can find a selection of recommended books for purchase, small exhibitions, and extremely friendly/helpful staff. The drinks are also great! Highly recommend to all who come.

We went to the comics museum today, but it was closed due to the weather warnings. However, the employee still let us in to see the Taiwanese comic books and gave us a brief tour of the store and book recs. Getting local comics was a great ending to my stay in Taichung. A gem hiding in plain sight and definitely the highlight of our visit to the NTMC! Shawn took the time to walk us through recommendations and answered all of our questions about the Taiwan indie comics industry. We would've stayed the rest of the day but we were on a schedule - plenty of food and drink options, and cozy indoor and outdoor seating. We got some comics and cold brew tea to go - it was just what we needed to cool off before our next destination. Fantastic experience!

Pretty store with a good collection to choose from. Very friendly people, explained about the books and the collection they had and helped us find the books we were interested in.
