via GoogleWhat a magical place!! Beautifully renovated. You can tell the owner really poured their heart into bringing this space to life. The pink guava and the hot mushroom drinks were my favorite. Also enjoyed browsing through the selection of vintage and local makers’ goods in the front zone. Don’t just come for pics— come and enjoy a heritage building and food & drink menu rooted in local ingredients and inspired by Chinese medicine. A true nod to the neighborhood’s history. A must visit when you’re in the area. No parking but this neighborhood is great for walking!

via GoogleThis place is built inside an old building in one of the oldest parts of Chinatown, and the concept is to turn it into a “modern” café while still preserving the original structure and atmosphere. That part is done really well and gives the place a unique feel. There’s also a small design shop on-site with some very special and interesting items. Overall, it’s a nice stop and worth a visit if you’re in the area. Just important to know in advance: you’re not allowed to enter the café area unless you order something, so it’s not a place you can simply walk through and explore.

via GoogleThis place is magical. It is three establishments in one: a gift shop, an architecture, museum upstairs and a beautiful café in a courtyard located at the back of the location. There are no photos allowed in the gift shop area, however, if you are willing to drink or dine in the café, you can get some beautiful pictures as it is set up quite nicely. Establishment is rather posh for being in the Chinatown neighborhood. This is what gentrification looks like, however, it is a fantastic offering and draws a lot of attention. I recommend the place for the atmosphere and offering. The prices for food and drink are quite high for the location

via GoogleI went there while I was exploring the Talat Noi area. The vibe was nice, the food was good and the staffs were great. I felt welcomed yet not overwhelmed. They were helpful and friendly. Especially Moe and San, they helped me with choosing the menu and were patient with explaining the food and everything I wanted to know.

via GoogleTucked away in a quiet lane within walking distance of Chinatown, 965 BKK is a small but charming spot that makes for a convenient lunch stop. The location itself feels slightly hidden, which adds to its appeal—you step away from the bustling streets into a calmer corner, perfect for a quick break. The setting is minimalist and cozy. It doesn’t try to overwhelm with décor, instead focusing on a clean, simple atmosphere. The quiet lane outside adds to the relaxed vibe, making it a nice contrast to the busy Chinatown energy. The menu is limited, which can be both a strength and a drawback depending on what you’re looking for. On the positive side, the dishes offered are carefully curated, ensuring quality over quantity. You don’t feel lost in endless choices, and the kitchen clearly focuses on doing a few things well. However, if you’re someone who enjoys variety or wants to explore multiple flavors, you might find the options a bit restrictive. The dishes are fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully presented. Portions are reasonable for a quick lunch, and the taste reflects attention to detail. It’s not a place for indulgent feasts, but rather for a satisfying, straightforward meal that leaves you content without feeling heavy. Service is efficient and friendly. Given the small scale of the restaurant, staff are attentive without being intrusive. Food arrives promptly, which is ideal for those stopping by during a busy day of exploring Chinatown. 965 BKK is best described as a hidden gem for those who appreciate simplicity. It’s not about grand variety or elaborate dining, but about a quiet, well-prepared meal in a tucked-away spot. Perfect for a quick lunch while wandering Chinatown, especially if you value calm surroundings and a focused menu.
