A rude elderly male employee was very disrespectful to us. We went to this café because we saw it on Instagram. I changed outfits because I had just been to another café and didn’t want photos in the same clothes. After taking 2-3 pictures, that employee came over and aggressively told us we couldn’t take photos anymore, even though others were taking them just fine. We tried to talk to him nicely, but he wouldn’t stop being rude. The employee also couldn’t communicate in English. This happened on June 26, 2023.

First coffee for the day at About Life Coffee Brewers. A sidewalk cafe that serves coffee from thoughtfully sourced beans. Have a well balanced single shot Flat White that is using beans from OniBus Coffee…. Interesting and also quite different from the one that I had at @onibuscoffee. In fact, I preferred this flat white to my latte at Onibus.

I had initially planned to go to the other branch of this shop (which is larger), but given the time I came here. It is a small stand, so don’t expect to be able to sit or hang out here. I had a host/collaboration beans from another roastery and it was a very nice coffee. I must highlight the entire preparation process, very carefully and thoughtfully. That special batch of beans was more expensive (around 800 yen), but I still enjoyed it very much.
