via GoogleI’ve been going to this coworking space for a week and really loving it. It’s conveniently located. There’s two floors, a kitchen, 2 phone booths and 1 meeting room. There’s always space and it’s quite. There’s lockers to store stuff if you go for lunch or leave for a while. It’s also open u t’il midnight which is very handy for late work/calls. The free coffee machine is nice. The staff also speak English.

via GoogleI went to a few co-working spaces in the Shibuya area, it is the only place got an English-speaking staff. Miss Mihiro is very helpful and the price here is reasonable. A cozy place to work for a few hours.

via GoogleAbout 7 minutes walking from Shibuya Station (Hachiko Exit.) It’s located inside The Millennials hotel, and the entrance is easily missed - it is a narrow alley in central Shibuya. Just look for “The Millennials” sign. Take the elevator up to 4F reception where you have to sign up via QR code in Japanese. You will get an email with a QR code which the staff will scan. Kind of a hassle, but simple enough. ¥3,000 for a day pass or ¥1,000 per hour. You can work and eat in the 4F hotel lobby/open space or in the 3F coworking space. Pay AFTER you use the space. Pros: - Good Wi-fi - Lots of food options around the building. Parco Shibuya is just 4 minutes walking. - Staff speaks English. - Coffee machine and assorted teas. - Clean bathrooms - They have an all-gender bathroom - Good BGM. It was lo-fi then alt/indie American songs. I wonder if the noise level bothers Japanese people? I liked it. - comfortable seats at the communal table Cons: - Staff told me eating is not allowed in the general 3F coworking space. But somebody was munching on crispy chips for like an hour. Annoying. - The card reader in the elevator is finicky. - Not enough “booths.” Single users hog the 4-people booths. Perhaps make a few more 2-person type booths so everyone isn’t just stuck at the large open table? Also the stool chairs look so high and uncomfortable.
