APRIL COFFEE LAB (Sai Ying Pun)

Good coffee and wonderful cheesecake in a tight but cozy cafe. Went near the closing time so we managed to snatch some seats. Flat white was comforting and had a good balance of milk and coffee. Americano was pleasant too! We initially ordered the sea salt cheesecake but the staff came to us and told there were 2 flavours (oolong and something else that was not sea salt, maybe the sea salt was sold out? Maybe it was a variant of the sea salt cheesecake? Lol idk) so we got the oolong instead. No regrets cause it was so good, dense but also airy. The oolong and cheese flavour was also well balanced. The staff was also kind which makes it a pleasant visit!

Very average coffee shop for the area. Even the fruity blend was quite harsh on the palate. I’d give it 7.6. Nice place and staff though.
