via GoogleHad a really satisfying breakfast experience here. We tried the Bacon Carbonara, Croissant with sunny side up & bacon, and their Sourdough French Toast. All well-executed and comforting without trying too hard. What really stood out was the staff genuinely friendly, approachable, and welcoming. You don’t get that forced “service smile”; it feels natural and warm. The environment is cozy and relaxed, with both indoor and outdoor seating, making it suitable whether you want a quiet breakfast or a casual catch-up. Most diners were neighbourhood regulars, which honestly says a lot about the place. Price-wise, it’s very affordable for this area, especially considering the portion size and quality. Another big plus: the team is open to menu customisation if something doesn’t suit your taste, a small detail, but it makes the dining experience feel personal and thoughtful. Overall, a pleasant, comfortable, and value-for-money café that’s easy to come back to. Definitely a solid breakfast and brunch spot in Penang.

via GoogleI’m usually not a big fan of Western food, but at Baa Baa Black Sheep, i finished an entire plate of Authentic Hainanese Chicken Chop — and that says a lot. Crispy outside, juicy inside, flavourful without being heavy. My husband had the Braised Lamb Shank — well-braised and aromatic, though a little rich if you eat too much. Better shared. The surprise for me? Grilled Chicken Breast with Pesto — perfectly grilled, not dry at all, fresh, light, and absolutely satisfying. This place really does Western food right.

via GoogleHad a fantastic breakfast experience at Baa Baa Black Sheep Café in Penang. The staff are exceptionally friendly, always smiling and genuinely welcoming, it really makes you feel at home from the moment you step in. The food was awesome, well-prepared, delicious, and beautifully presented. From classic breakfast plates to indulgent options like eggs benedict and croissant sandwiches, everything tasted fresh and satisfying. You can tell they pay attention to quality. The ambience is warm, cozy, and relaxing, perfect for a slow breakfast or brunch with family and friends. A great spot to start your day or just enjoy a chill morning coffee. Highly recommended if you’re around the Tanjung Bungah area. Will definitely come back again! 👍

via GoogleGood service. We were initially seated outdoors as indoors was full, but the waiter went out of his way to ask if we wanted to move indoors once places were freed up Aside from that, everything about this place is overrated The food for sure is overpriced for the portion that they actually give you. Just look at how pathetic, puny, and near paper-thin these chicken breast pieces are The chef/management assured us it would be roughly 80 grams, but after verifying it with a scale, they only gave us roughly half that amount Rm23 for some raw vegetables, a single egg, and a pitiful amount of chicken breast? Are you serious right now? Is the owner this much of penny-pincher to serve me this overpriced garbage? You don't seem to have a shortage of customers, so why do you need to be this cheap with your food? Disgusting business owner
