Baker & Cook - Dempsey

Good environment, spacious place for dating. Ordered 2 pizzas - the sourdough crusts were good, but the topping and taste were normal, not too flavourful imo. Good place to catchup but the taste were normal. Whoops posted wrongly, this should be for the Plank Pizza Dempsey. Anyway. I tried the breads as well, taste healthy which is good but prolly wouldn’t buy it again?

The Dutch Pancakes are easily the best dish on the table. It’s a great spot for families and younger kids since there is a playground nearby that they really enjoyed. Also, despite the hot weather, it wasn’t too bad. They have fans positioned around certain spots to keep it comfortable.

Really a different cafe surrounded by nature, weekday especially chill, pets friendly and children friendly. Weekends are crowded but good vibes. Their coffee is great, big breakfast my all time favourite but I will share with someone. Pastry counter always full of varieties both savoury and sweets.. Highly recommended. Awesome natural light indoors through glass, huge outdoor space for kids to play at. Indoor seats limited and fill up by 9am, plenty of outdoor benches with umbrella providing shade. Love the pancakes and cakes. Bread that came with the big breakfast was too tough. Matcha latte not sweetened, chai latte was with tea pigs teabag but tasted surprisingly good. Overall a great place for adults to catch up indoors while kids run around nearby outdoors.

I think the breakfast selection is great but what we ordered were just okay. The upside of this place though is how child friendly it is. Has stuff for the toddler to eat and big space to run and play. Great option for parents. Another thing to note is that they have a carpark right at the location, don’t need to park too far.
