BARTELS Bang Tao - Sourdough Sandwiches, Coffee & Juicery

Very nice location, service is a little slow, the food was brought separately, so everyone started eating at different times. The ham was too chewy and the cappuccino has by default 1 single shot of coffee. Enjoy!

The food here was great and I thoroughly enjoyed it. My only concern was for my partner’s order— he had a severe reaction to something in the food (he has a nut allergy) but all he ordered was scrambled eggs on toast (with smoked salmon, Eggplant and cream cheese add on) as shown in the images attached, all of which he has never had any issue with anywhere else. There was nothing on the menu that stated the items we ordered had nuts in and he did not touch any of my food (although mine shouldn’t have any nuts either). Our best guess is cross contamination of nuts in the kitchen, which is understandable but we hope this feedback could be taken seriously as he was violently ill for 2hrs straight— which has happened on occasions when he accidentally consumed something that was contaminated by small traces of nuts.
