Beasty Coffee [ cafe laboratory ]

definitely deserves a rating higher than it’s afforded. coffee was well crafted and chocolate tart was amazing - as you can see we couldn’t wait to help ourselves. this is a place to come back to.

Great micro roaster with espresso and pour over. Had a good latte and two excellent pastries. Nice mellow vibe in modern space close to Yoyogi.

This Yoyogi neighborhood is blessed with different cafes and small restaurants. Beasty coffee is one of them. I went here with a friend for an evening coffee, and I ordered Chai Latte, a drink most people wouldn’t order on their first encounter of a coffee shop. Their chai latte is easy to drink, creamy but light, though I wish they had stronger chai taste and not just topped with chai spices on top. This cafe is small and intimate, but we opted to seat outside overlooking the street. With the weather on our side that evening, it’s hard not to enjoy the company.
