Two cafes in one? That was what I'd discovered when I first visited Surya Cafe in Klang. Initially I just wanted to kill some time while waiting for someone, it turned out to be another pleasant find which had since gone permanently into my cafe list in Klang. Surya is the main cafe that serves hot food and espresso based coffee; while BUlogik takes a small space in front of the shop to sell purely pour over coffee - my choice of coffee these days. It's a one-man-show (more like one-woman-show) and she's very knowledgeable on her beans. ◾Grilled black pepper chicken chop RM19 provided me with much needed protein with a good black pepper sauce to match. ◾Rainbow Salmon Salad RM18 - greens, cherry tomato, corn, cucumber, boiled egg, pumpkin seed, sesame dressing topped with nicely fried salmon cubes. Not-so-simple bowl of salad for her who didn't want heavy meal. ◾Waffle fries RM12 made a good snack to munch on. ◾Coffee - flat white from Surya was strong and nice. I specifically chose Ethiopia Gesha & Colombia Villa Clara Estate beans that day - as I prefer slightly acidic and fruity profile in my coffee.

Very privacy and my coffee was prepared from the coffee bean that I choose, Brazil Carmo de Minas sertao. This coffee bee has sweet pungent smell. My first time tried this bean and I kinda like the taste a bit earthy but not too bitter and a very little acidic

My first / always to go cafe and coffee hangout place in Klang without any hesitations and doubts. This cozy cafe has left nothing but the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide list of hand brew coffee beans. They may not have the “atas” environment feel but good enough to be cozy and comfortable. Step in and trust me, they know how to make customer happy as their main priorities.

We spent five days back home, and every morning started at this cute, cozy, quiet and friendly little coffee place. Every coffee is hand-brewed. It’s such a rare find these days, even in places like Berlin, which makes them so precious. The coffee is always fresh, clean, and absolutely delicious. They also have a huge variety of beans, each with its own unique flavor. Tasting them is such a fun experience. They offer some rare options like the fermented beans with a whiskey-like taste, something you just don’t see in most coffee shops. I really hope this precious shop gets discovered and supported by more coffee lovers! We will definitely be back again when we visit home. Oh, their home made burnt cheesecake is super yummy too!
