Cafe Aunties

Went here when the city lost power and my hotel had no wifi. They still had wifi and were cool inside. The coffee was great. The ambiance is also nice to sit and work for a long time. They haven't tried their foods but they looked good to be served to other customer. Underrated cafe in Vientiane!

Cafe Auntie has moved to a new downtown location tucked inside a small alley. The space feels chic and minimalist, creating a calm and stylish atmosphere. Drinks are just as good as always — I especially love their lemon soda, which is bright, refreshing, and perfect for a hot day in town. The café has a moderate noise level, making it comfortable for conversations or even getting some work done. The only downside is that parking can be limited due to the narrow alley location.

After moving to a new location, the taste of coffee and desserts has improved significantly. A cozy and cute space is a bonus.

It was my first visit after making efforts to find twice. The cafe was not easily located due to no obvious signage if there are cars parking on the main street in front of the shop. The coffee and desserts are tasty with modern furnitures and design. Will certainly come back again.
