via GoogleVisited Café Habi in Sg Chua, Kajang, not long after its opening. Overall, the experience was decent, but there are still areas that can be improved as the café grows. The staff were friendly and attentive, which is always a good start. They were polite and tried to assist customers as best as they could. Since the café is still new, the operations felt a little unpolished, but that’s understandable at this stage. With more time and experience, I believe the team will run things more smoothly. The environment is one of the café’s highlights. It carries a peaceful and zen concept, with simple and calming décor that gives you a sense of relaxation. It’s a nice place to unwind, catch up with a friend, or simply enjoy some quiet time with a coffee. On the downside, the pricing here is quite high compared to other cafés in the area. The food portions don’t really match the price, and while the taste is okay, it isn’t something that stands out. It feels more like a spot to enjoy coffee and cakes rather than a place to satisfy a big appetite. The selection of hot food is very limited, which makes it less suitable if you’re looking for a proper meal. Instead, it’s better for those who just want a drink with some light bites. One thing notable is the ordering method. Customers need to place their orders at the counter and make payment immediately. Personally, I’m not a fan of this style, as it breaks the flow of dining in a café setting, where table service often adds to the experience. Perhaps this system works for efficiency, but it may not appeal to everyone. Overall, I’d rate Café Habi 3 out of 5. It’s a cozy new café with a calming environment, friendly staff, and decent coffee, but the pricing, portion sizes, and limited food options leave room for improvement. Hopefully, with time, it will grow into a more well-rounded café experience in Sg Chua.

via GoogleDon't judge a book by its cover! Initially, I didn't take this place too seriously, assuming it would be just another generic café. Today, I finally gave it a chance, and I am genuinely impressed by both the food and the environment. I tried their focaccia series, and the bread was absolutely perfect—crispy on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside. Their sourdough was equally impressive. While the scrambled eggs were unfortunately a bit overcooked, it didn't take away from the overall excellent experience. We had the Iced Latte, which was smooth, and the Mocha, which leans toward a richer, more chocolatey profile. I will definitely be a returning customer!

via GoogleCafe Habi is an absolute gem of a find in Kajang! The establishment checks all the boxes: efficient service, welcoming staff, and substantial food portions. The standout feature is undoubtedly their pastry selection, which instantly reminded me of La Levain Artisan Bakery & Cafe in Singapore. A highlight of my visit was chatting with a staff member, who shared that the cafe regularly hosts guest bakers from different parts of the world so their own team can learn from global talent. It’s rare to see a local cafe invest so much into elevating their standards, and you can absolutely taste the difference. IG - @jim.catheryn

via GoogleIn this traditional neighborhood commercial district, it is almost impossible to spot a cozy vibe coffee & pastry shop. The shops within, usually been occupied by those daily essentials operators to serve the nearby residents. 😍 Cafe Habi has became the open path founder, the cafe is so quiet, cozy and comfortable, for small group of business discussions, study work revision among classmates, friends gathering… this is the right place 🥰 Periodically, they will do promotion on coffee and pastry set with attractive price tag. My suggestion is their coconut latte and all kinds of croissant, must try 🫶🏻
