Cake Jalan Tiung Seksyen 4

I saw on thread cake jalan tiung sells salt bread, one of the best in shah alam & wanted to try myself . Went there today around 11.30 am and unfortunately the first batch was sold out. The staffs were very nice & helpful, I asked if I can make order & payment first, pickup later for the second batch (they produced 2 batched of salt bread daily) & they said yes ! Came to pick up my order around 2.30 pm. The shio pan was nice , worth the hype. For me, it tastes a bit like croissant but bun version , buttery goodness! Overall , it was worth to try & cake jalan tiung never disappoint me so far!

Have been a fan of their pavlova since they were located in Seksyen 9. Had the chance to stop by seksyen 4 today and no pavlova anymore. Maybe only on certain day? But got the chance to try their dessert and shio pan, mahal tapi sedap! Also ordered grilled chicken tomato pasta. Flavor wise sedap, chicken breast very juicy tapi the sauce too watery, macam tom yam pun ada. Sauce cannot cling to the pasta and wasted lot of it. Cant really get much flavor and i have to scoop the sauce to make my spageti saucy. Hope they can improve on this!

I bought the ‘Matilda cake’ recently, in the morning since there’s always news that it get sold out comes noon. And I was hoping it was a freshly made. However I do think, that particular piece was a bit on the ‘dry’ side and it was only the ganache that soften it. Anyway, I’ve done ‘try and tested’. 😉 Do I like it? Well, it’s chocolatey but it doesn’t induced for a second round. Perhaps it’s just not my cup of tea. ps. I always wish that whoever behind the counter or rather the front-person of CJT could be a little bit more cheerful compare to the ‘muka petak kena paksa kerja on weekend’ every visits 😅

Delecacies are good Alhamdulillah. Especially the chocolate chip cookies. Sadly service is way way below average. We were the first customers and no smile, no greetings, no attentivenes, no communication or whatsoever. We had to take our cookies on our own and our drink came last.

I visited this café a few years ago and loved how cosy and welcoming it was. it’s spacious, kids-friendly and just nice for relaxing. I’ve tried a few slices of their cakes before and really enjoyed them. Recently, I ordered the 11 slice chocolate cake via Beepit and it was absolutely delicious! Honestly, the cake was rich, moist and full of chocolate flavour. took me days to finish as the portion is big for me😍 every bite is just breathtaking.
