CHOP COFFEE CAT STREET

We came to Chop Coffee 2 weeks ago. There were 2 customers when we arrived and they were leaving when we were about to order. When we were about to order, I told my Mum to go sit down as she was very sore from her arthritis but one of the staff said loudly in Japanese that we had to order before sitting down. This is understandable if this is your cafe's rule. We're more than happy to follow it even though your cafe was empty. The staff knew we weren't fluent Japanese speakers, and kept asking questions really quickly. We struggled a bit but we got there in the end. The coffee was nice but the iced tea had an 'artificial' taste. When we finished our coffee and tea, we decided to bring it in so the tables were clean for the next customers. When we handed it to the staff, she just grabbed it without even acknowledging us. I understand everywhere in Japan is crowded with tourist and maybe you had many bad customers. We actually tried to be good customers but your staff were absolutely rude and unwelcoming. As a fellow cafe owner, you should be ashamed. We won't be back and we don't recommend anyone to come to this cafe if this is how you treat your customers.

The black coffee boasted a well-balanced profile. The initial taste revealed a bold, slightly smoky flavor, followed by subtle hints of dark chocolate and a pleasant, lingering aftertaste of mild sweetness and a touch of nuttiness

I enjoy this place, not only for the coffee but for the vibe as well. I had been to the original location several years back and enjoyed it. This location is prime and is worth stopping in for a drink. I went with the cold brew which was excellent, with a nice sweetness mixed with a tiny bit of bitterness. The staff were friendly and the service fast.
