Coexist Coffee Co. @Hillview

We visited Coexist Coffee Co during a weekday brunch and found the café pleasantly quiet, with only a handful of customers. The ambience was cosy and inviting, making it a great spot for catching up with friends. While the food leaned towards the pricier side, the taste was fairly average and nothing particularly memorable. However, they did offer some lunch deals that might be worth exploring. To round off our meal, we indulged in their pistachio and sesame crepe cakes. The pistachio crepe cake was a standout for me, offering a delightful flavour and texture that I recommend trying. If you are in the area, it is worth a visit for the relaxed atmosphere and a taste of their pistachio crepe cake.

This is the 3rd time I have been to this place. I love the location of it. It is a hidden cafe in an industrial building. To those who don’t know, the cafe is located on the top floor. You can only take the lift up to level 7 and would need to walk a flight of stairs up. The place has been renovated. I have to say I prefer the old setup more. The food previously was also better as well as the service. There are tables outside on the balcony but the chairs and tables does not look very comfortable. Ordering and menu are via a QR code. I tried their National Day special coffee, the kaya toast 2.0. I have to say the one last year was so much better. I am not sure what they did to it but I was literally looking forward to this national day just for the coffee and it was a disappointment. The chicken croissant was not bad. Dishes here are pricey.

Coexist Cafe at the Hillview branch not only nails the Halloween vibe with its festive decorations but also delivers on food and service! The cafe is creatively decked out with cobwebs and spooky details that make it the perfect spot to soak in the Halloween spirit. On the menu the Halloween themed drinks add to the fun. On top of that, the food is fantastic – the croissant was freshly baked with a tasty filling, and the pistachio and sesame crepe cake struck a perfect balance, not too sweet. Shoutout to the amazing staff, especially Crystal, Nicole, and Ciara, who provided top-notch service, making the experience even better. Highly recommend both for the food and the festive atmosphere!
