Coffee Cipher

A very clean and humble roastery coffee shop. The shop’s color scheme is classy yet warm and inviting. Seating options include both countertop spots and wall-connected benches, and the large, spotless window lets in plenty of natural light—making it a perfect place to enjoy coffee during the daytime. I tried the Ethiopia Nensebo Bulga as a hot hand pour—impressively citrusy with a well-rounded sweetness at the end. Loved it. My friend ordered the Colombia Huila Lacia Geisha as a cold drip, and damn, I wanted to steal her cup—so refreshing, bursting with grape-like flavors. I enjoyed it so much that I went back two days later. This time, I wanted to try a milk-based coffee, so I ordered a hot cappuccino. It was great too, though the milk foam here is the airy, foamy type made with a frother. It gives a creamier texture, but it’s just not my personal preference. I also grabbed some drip coffee bags to take home. Definitely worth visiting—and picking up some beans or drip bags while you’re there!

I had the coconut sparkling americano, and it is SURPRISINGLY good!!! I did take out some I didn’t get to experience everything but what I dig about this spot is that they roast their own and have a collection of beans. Even though I was in for just a take out coffee, I would love to come back again. The tough thing is that this neighbourhood looks to have lots of great coffee options, so it’s hard to choose which one to try.

One of the best drip coffee I had so far! The house blend was smooth and well balanced. The cappuccino was really good too! Highly recommended if u need your coffee fix if you are in Taichung city!
