Monsieur Laubie does superb small batch roasting and offers a huge range of specialty coffees. Situated in a very sweet little pedestrian street near le Bastille.

Stumbled upon this roaster while roaming around Marais and Bastille. They are using a manual roasting technique that produces amazing levels of quality. I bought 2 lbs of different varieties to bring home and thoroughly enjoyed my pulls of espresso. I highly recommend a visit.

Practice your French, mine is rubbish, and this is one of the places I most wished I could communicate better. I’m so glad to have found this coffee roaster. He roasts in house. I picked up a bag that had been roasted the day before. The others, just days before. It’s in a picturesque alley (of course).
