Attended the cafe for lunch 3/11/24 with 2 young boys 2 and 5 years. The service was fantastic. Quick and efficient, the atmosphere was wonderful with the outside garden. One of my sons accidentally split his hot chocolate over the table/floor. 2 wonderful staff were so kind, quick to clean not only the floor but helped my son wipe his hands/wet clothes and provided comforting assurance. They then got him a new hot chocolate with extra marshmallows to cheer him up, free of charge. At the end of the meal, one waitress even helped to clean my boys hands and set them off their chairs. Honestly as a single mum who often goes out, it was amazing to have the support and service, it felt very community based and homely, Above and beyond service. Although a bit more expensive, the food was yummy…not ‘wow’ but still good. The shop also has wonderful items and a large variety of perfect gifting products.
