via GoogleBuy a book and stay for a coffee and cake. Charming cafe / book store in quiet alley off busy street. Small but varied selection of English books, mostly fiction, and a few odd French or other language. Mix of literature and popular, new releases and classics. From Graham Greene to Murakami, Richard Osman and Sophie Kinsella to Georgette Heyer plus more.

via GoogleThis bookstore is tucked away inside Fika café, and has a great selection of books. It consists of around four shelves, and doesn't have that many books compared to a Dymocks, but I bought some great books from here! A range of new and second hand books. Some of the new books were damaged, though, and the staff consisting of one person wasn't very helpful.

via GoogleLovely tranquil oasis down a narrow alley way @ Fika Cafe off First Street. Nice, smallish, selection of paperback best sellers, thrillers, crime, romance etc in English.

via GoogleFound several books I would enjoy and had to narrow it down to just two since I’m limited on space! Great place to peruse books with a nice pot of tea.

via GoogleI was happy with the selection of books and thought it would be a good place to bring the (nearly brand new) book I had just finished, and get another one to replace it. I wasn’t asking for much, maybe a 50k discount on the new book. More than fair, considering that I had purchased the book I brought for 390k. The woman flatly told me “no.” Too bad, since I was planning on buying two books and a coffee! The great news is that the Avocado Café and bookstore, located a 10 minute walk away, has a much better ambiance, a larger selection of books, great coffee, and a kind staff. Please consider going there instead, as they will happily take your books in exchange for a discount on a different book.
