Flo

This is my favourite coffee shop on the whole island. I'm very picky when it comes to both coffee and matcha and at Flo, I'm never disappointed. The quality is high, the craft is amazing and the staff are beautiful. My family and I found Flo in 2021 and since then, we most likely come every day. For coffee lovers there are different beans to choose from, both single origin and blends, all carefully picked and passionately roasted by the owner. They also do a few more 'out there' coffee drinks, like 'moon water' which is a hot milk coffee made with cinnamon, honey and salt - like drinking a well made, but slightly more interesting, cinnamon bun. Personally I love matcha and find it hard to find high quality ones, especially at a 'normal' cafe (vs one that is dedicated to matcha). At Flo they have three different powders to choose from - a normal/standard variation, a premium version and also Genmaicha, which has become my favourite, made with roasted rice. I also love that they have Bonsoy as the brand for their soymilk, it makes a huge difference to the whole experience. If you're looking for incredible coffee, this is your place. Once you tried it, you'll most likely won't go anywhere else.

I walked 20 minutes to come here for breakfast - after reading breakfast reviews but find out only pastries (not pancakes like I read they had). I had a croissant which was quite oily and the flat white was bitter tasting, definitely needed sugar. Hard seating. Not a vibe to spend much time in - a quick coffee and go. However the service was friendly and fast and the environment is very clean.
