Finally dropped by Fluid after having it on my to-go list for a while (they’re a little out of the way). I loved the relaxed, open-concept space. The setup is casual with camping chairs, benches, and crate-style seating, giving it a laid-back, slightly hidden-gem feel. I had their hot White ($6), made with Ethiopian Ayla Bombe beans. The coffee had distinct fruity and acidic notes, and the latte art was excellent with a good foam. It’s lighter and more berry-forward than the nutty blends I usually prefer, but still enjoyable. Fluid is known for their filter coffees, which I’d come back to try if I’m ever in the area. The standout for me was the Iced Chocolate ($9) - rich, dark, and slightly bitter with just the right amount of sweetness. The bits of unmelted chocolate added a nice texture and extra depth. Overall, a great cafe for both specialty coffee lovers and anyone who enjoys a well-made chocolate drink. 📸 For more food reviews, check out @hangry.potatoo on instagram.

Tried out this café with an industrial vibe and really loved the ambience and seating concept. Was surprised at how packed it was — clearly a popular spot. Their coffee seems freshly roasted in-house, and the smell and aroma filled the whole space. Very Instagrammable vibe too. A great place to chill and relax over a cup of coffee and some chocolate. Enjoyed it!

Found this place when nearby and it exceeded my expectations. I have ordered Filtered Coffee, Ethiopia Honey to explore their beans and brew. It is very light, clean & bright, medium acidity, and has a good aroma of citrus & peach, which is refreshing. Then, I wanted more and decided to try their Geisha. The one I drink is Hacienda La Esmeralda, one of the best farm for coffee Geisha beans, Panama Geisha Washed. Drinking it next to each cup really makes me appreciate coffee even more, this is my 3rd time trying Geisha, and it’s definitely have more characteristics, floral, honey, orange, and lime. It has a rounder finish, with sweet aftertaste.

A nice coffee shop recommended by a friend. The environment is quiet and comfortable, the barista is very warm and friendly, and the coffee beans are roasted in-house, with a great flavor and aroma.

Accepted and well established name in the SG coffee scene. They subscribe more to the older roastery and bean subscription model, rather than the recent coffee and bakes model. Makes sense, gives space for serious coffee brewing. Started by noticing the aroma from about 3 shops away, a fragrant plume around the neighborhood. And the experience didn't let up. Tasteful decor and items, done just right. Cosy flowing community vibe. Long black was great, on par to brews we got at apartment or waved coffee. And no wonder, with our recent winner Oscar Ong in the house. The hot chocolate was nice as well, with some chocolate bits. (yes, I'm a kiddo, unlike my lady, shoot me!) He did give me a lil' bit of an eye when I ordered a white for takeaway though 😂. The other half of the duo was extremely warm and welcoming as well. There was a palpable sense of bliss in the house, like everyone was doing what they were meant to do. Great place to go, would come again.
