Fong Coffee and Craft Cacoa

This is not just another coffee shop in the region. They process the cacao beans themselves using a modern method in which the temperature and humidity are kept low, akin to wine making. The beans came from local farms in the northern part of Lampang province. Their cacao product has won an international contest based on not only the taste but also the chemical profile — their fermentation process retains more nutrients from the cacao when compared to traditional processes. It is a bless to see how far the locals have come, making you wonder how much further they could go had the country been fully free.

Their coffee and chocolate are truly out of this world. The baristas are very sweet The owner is a gem, showed us his cocoa trees and the process of making chocolate! He is passionate and the chocolate he produces has won gold in Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 Their coffee beans are also sourced in Lampang. You can't have more local! Also, there is an adorable goldie who greeted us when we arrived. New favorite coffee shop unlocked ❤️

I just had a nice chat with the owner Not about his chocolate process and drank his chocolate without any sugar and tasted two of his 100% chocolates. Really outstanding chocolate taste, quite smooth, little sweet and one not bitter at all and the other one just slightly. In the end better than any other high percentage chocolate I ate so far. I also liked the macaron which I had with it.

Ohlala what an ideal gem!!! The chocolate is amazing, I had zero expectations for chocolate in Thailand... and I'm now in heaven. The food is great too, just as the vibe
