via GoogleOne of my fav coffee shops in HCMC, ngl. Very demure, very cutesy. The drinks suit my taste (especially the espresso, so my gout and not too burnt). The interior is really aesthetic, especially with the vinyl record player, giving it a nostalgic vibe. The combination of drinking, chatting, and listening to music on vinyl creates a very chill atmosphere. It’s great for small groups to chat, but if you're alone, it’s better suited for reading or relaxing rather than working.

via GoogleBeing tucked away from the main street doesn't seem to downplay its reputation. It was a full house when we came in, resorting to a tiny corner upstairs 💁 The interior though screams creativity! It's atmospheric and cozy enough. Drinks aren't the cheapest but flavorful. Happy to come back. Parking lot out front+10k extra

via GoogleHai Cái Tẩy is a charming café that offers a unique blend of traditional and modern vibes. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with rustic decor and comfortable seating. The menu is diverse, featuring a wide range of coffee drinks, teas, and freshly baked pastries. I tried their signature Vietnamese iced coffee, and it was exceptionally robust and flavorful, striking the perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness. The staff are friendly and attentive, providing excellent service and making you feel right at home. The outdoor seating area is perfect for enjoying a peaceful afternoon while sipping on your favorite beverage. Whether you're looking for a spot to relax, catch up with friends, or get some work done, Hai Cái Tẩy is a fantastic choice. It's a hidden gem that truly stands out in the bustling café scene.

via GoogleHai Cái Tẩy gives the impression of a music-focused café—vinyl records on display, vintage speakers, amplifiers arranged like they matter. It sets the stage for something intentional, maybe even immersive. But the music playing doesn’t match the setup. What you actually hear feels like filler—background tracks better suited for retail chains or elevators. There’s a mismatch between what the space implies and what it delivers. It’s just underwhelming for what it could be. The visual cues say music matters here. The sound says it doesn’t. This isn’t a quiet space that invites you to listen, nor is it curated enough to justify the audio gear it flaunts. At Hai Cái Tẩy, the result is a hollow kind of performance. Everything points to music as a central theme, but nothing follows through. The drinks are barely acceptable with nothing standing out, and the staff doesn’t even pretend that they like it here, as they only seem to be happy when joking among themselves. Otherwise, all staff members greet guests with a very Stoic expression. They can definitely benefit from pretending to want to be here. Empty hype and zero personality.
