would gatekeep this with all my heart but it deserves much more love. simply my favourite, quiet comfort place now. could feel the care even from the littlest thing like the way they serve my drinks & food at my table. leaving this review to appreciate the beauty of this cafe and its entirety.

Before I sempat post on 'he ni', a quaint and serene cafe that I visited while they were still in PJ Old Town, they'd moved to a new location on a quieter row of shoplots in Seksyen 22. Not that I'm complaining, in fact the new location is actually nearer and I come to Seksyen 22 frequently to look for my sifu who lives a stone throw away. The cafe is without signboard - maybe to keep people mysterious. Not much renovation was done - I could still spot the old tiles on the floor and the whole shop really looks like transporting me back to the kopitiam of the olden days complete with chairs and tables from my dad's era. Tastefully decorated yet not overly done, soft music playing in the background, it felt right at home. One jar containing Siamese fighting fish at one corner caught my attention. The windows were covered by a knitted curtain that certainly felt retro. People were minding their own businesses - reading, chatting and laughing while sipping coffee which they were really good at. Try thrie Yunnan Menglian long black that hit the spot. Fans of hand brew coffee can opt for the Eithiopia Oromia that has notes of mandarin, apple and bergamot. I could come here everyday just to have a me-time or simple dating over coffee.
