Simple and minimalist cafe. Staff are cute and cool. Theres only a few things on the menu but more than enough. I’m here always just for their matcha latte. Polo bun is served cold lol. Aircond in the store itself is too strong aha! Limited seats available. Recommended!

The drinks are very refreshing and polo bun is very good. U need to reheat the polo bun before having it. The butter cake is quite a special combination with matcha too. But the cheese cake is not really nice. And on another note for the pricing that we are paying for the food, the owner should really improve on the takeaway packaging. Hope to see more improvements in future.

Nice matcha but a bit overpriced for the portion itself. Worth to try. Limited seats available outside the cafe. Pls try their strawberry matcha latte. So good 👌🏻

[Consider this my graduation post] I finally graduated medschool! Yay! And here are 20+ pics of the (documented) times I’ve been to Hejau with my favourite duo (A&D) 🩷 I came from kampung and never had matcha latte before until D introduced it to me and since then we’ve been a permanent weekly fixure here. And after all the years and money spent here, I firgured that it’s time I drop this review 🫣 Listed below are all the reasons where hejau was compulsory (in no particular order) : 1. Got scolded by our lecturers 2. Before ramadan 3. Matcha for buka puasa (3 to go without ice) 4. Matcha during raya szn 5. Matcha before our exams 6. After our exams 7. Before our final final exam 8. When we officially passed our barrier exam 9. Post break up 10. Before going on a date 11. Debrief after going on the date 12. Before birthdays 13. After birthdays 14. Before starting a new posting 15. After completing the said posting 16. After bedside teaching with a scary lecturer 17. After bedside teaching with the nicest and the best lecturer and patient 18. After a successful venipuncture 19. After a successful abg 20. After a successful cbd insertion 21. After raya open house 22. After taking picture with my crush 23. Two weeks post taking picture with my crush for debrief purposes and many more not listed here but yall get the point, highly recommend to grow your own list 👍🏻 So if you ask me about Hejau, I’d say they have great matcha. But if you ask me on a deeper level? This. This will be my answer. When I think of matcha latte, I’ll think of hejau and I’ll think of my best friends and the years we were in medical school. I will forever be grateful for my girls and the comfort hejau offers us on sunny days and rainy days. And from the bottom of my heart, I pray that Hejau continues to bring the same amount of comfort and more to everyone for years to come 🩷💚🍵 ps here’s our usual order: 1. Matcha latte fresh milk (the normal friend) 2. Matcha latte oat milk 3. Matcha latte oat milk no sugar (diabetes is scared of her!!)

Absolutely brilliant discovery of this month. PJ gem. One of the best matcha cafe! The quality of the drinks perfect, matcha so authentic and original. The cafe is vegetarian friendly and they use alternative milk for drinks. This is very important for me. My new favourite test is match with ginger and turmeric. Highly recommend to try. It’s a bit spicy and makes you feel warm ❤️ Other option is haujicha matcha. Perfect as well. Staff here so friendly and focus on best service. Cafe is quite small, so if you want to dine in be ready to wait for table. Them menu focus on drinks. Wherever I am here like to visit this place.
