Hide and Seek Hostel Vientiane - Pie my Love - Félix & Cacao

I always stay here when I need to do visa related things for Thailand. It’s right around the corner from the Thai embassy. Friendly and welcoming staff. The free breakfast was great. I like how I can be social and meet new people here. Would recommend for any solo traveler.

Very nice place to stay. The price is fair, and it’s very close to the Royal Thai Embassy. It’s a quiet place with a really chill atmosphere. The people are incredibly welcoming and friendly, and they even helped me with my visa process. I only stayed for two days, but it felt like I found a new family. I will always remember this place. If I ever come back to Vientiane, I will definitely choose to stay here again.

Dodo. Lovely guy. Interesting, too… used to live in Egypt, originally from France. Top level service. Damn good pies (the big ones are better than the small ones, I reckon) and the breakfasts and the hummus are really good, too. Scan the QR code on the counter because it shows you where all the best places are and that’s quite important because Google Maps is poorly serviced in Vientiane. So you actually need Dodo more than Dodo needs you.

I came here to stay since it was less than a minute walk to the embassy of Thailand. Really great breakfast, really friendly hosts and owner and his girlfriend, comfortable beds, great shower, and it was a relaxing time while I waited for my visa to process. Must stay here if you’re coming on a visa trip!!

I stayed here for 3 nights and it was a great experience. At just $9 a night, the mattress was excellent, honestly quite rare for a hostel! The place was very quiet and the staff is super attentive. A huge shout-out to the manager, Dodo, who shares his personal list of must-visit spots and restaurant recommendations for all tastes. The breakfast is hearty and very affordable; the pies and chocolate chocolate are delicious. Highly recommend this spot and I will definitely be back!
