Ideology Coffee

Cool space and iced coffee on a hot day. Efficient use of bar/counter seating, and a few patio tables on Ventura Boulevard. They make drinks quickly. The vanilla latte is pretty good…not the most delicate flavor and quite sweet, but not unbearably sweet.

Ideology Coffee is bright and decorated in a simple, inviting way. My flat white, a short 6oz in this case, was more complex and pleasant than I expected. I enjoyed a little conversation with the barista Igor, who is very friendly and down-to-earth. When I returned for a second visit, Igor made a delicious cortado, it felt so nice to be comforted by a good coffee just like that. Great overall experiences. Indoor and patio seatings available.

This place has such a calm and cozy atmosphere — perfect for working, reading, or catching up with a friend. The coffee is smooth and well-balanced, not overly bitter, and the matcha is one of the best I’ve tried in the area. I also love their pastry selection — always fresh, with some unique seasonal options. Staff is friendly and service is quick even when it’s busy. Definitely one of my favorite spots to start the day or take a mid-afternoon break.

I look forward to my morning cappuccino from this place! Between the friendly staff and the excellent drinks, it's the perfect start to the day.

Cool vibes. I ordered ahead but still got the wrong beverage. My correct beverage was awesome! I feel this place is a little pricey for some items. I don’t think I could come here daily. It’s a little far also. Nice staff. Fixed my order with a smile so that’s a plus. Limited parking on street and metered. $3 for 15 minutes in parking lot at rear of building. Doesn’t post about validation other than that some places validate but for how long?
