This is one of the most memorable experiences we've had in Tokyo. A hidden gem tucked into the basement. It opens up to a magical capsule of a cafe where everything is made with old school precision and world class Japanese hospitality. You get to pick a cup of your choice from a wall of probably a hundred beautiful cups, each with a theme. And to top it all off, Teshima the barista is just brilliant. He has been serving magical cups of coffee and tea for 30 years. The shop itself has been here for 40 years. It's a must visit for anyone visiting Tokyo.

Amazing basement cafe provided relief from hectic Tokyo streets. Like stepping back in time. The barrista is an artisan and all coffee is served in Japanese made cups that are presented on the wall opposite the bar. The only staff appear to be a husband and wife who are extremely friendly. I recommend the house blend - strong and robust!
