Amazing little coffee spot. The owners are super friendly and knowledgeable. They will chat and discuss their beans and types of coffee to find the best cup for your preference. I opted for their espresso blend of El savador, Guatemala and Papua New Guinea which is so flavourful but smooth, perfectly balanced. I also got a Papua New Guinea pour over to take away. I brought my own thermos and they even heated it with hot water before pouring the coffee which is shows amazing attention to detail! The pour over itself is super clean, juicy and fragrant, very different to the typical Asian beans with a more ‘earthy’ taste. They only have one table with two seats inside but it’s a perfect place to unwind from the hustle and bustle. From chatting with them I found out they are in an independent roaster association started by a Q Grader, allowing them access to some unique suppliers and beans sourced independently with a focus of flavour rather than commercialization. The price is a little bit on the high side but it’s worth every penny if you’re after some unique, carefully curated and high quality specialty coffee.
