Kusuma Matcha

Tried the matcha strawberry drink and it was surprisingly good! The matcha had a rich and smooth flavor, not too bitter, and the strawberry added a fresh sweet balance. The combination tasted creamy, refreshing, and unique at the same time. The presentation was also really pretty and aesthetic. Perfect drink to enjoy while relaxing.

Kusuma is one of the recommended matcha spots in Bandung, especially in the Gempol area. Their strawberry matcha is delicious, not too sweet, and refreshing. As for the desserts, their tiramisu is really good, guys. You have to try it. You can also share it to get a taste.

Kusuma Matcha offers a clean and well-maintained environment with a great atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff who greet customers. The mango coconut matcha had a mild coconut taste with mango notes but was still dominated by matcha, while the strawberry tiramisu looked appealing but was a bit overly sweet. 🍵

One of the viral matcha bar with vending machine gimmick for different type of matcha. A real ceremonial grade matcha, more umami flavor and less bitter than food grade matcha which lots of other places used for their matcha drinks. If you like hojicha, you can try it here, good taste with smokiness and nutty flavour. Don't expect having a very creamy matcha latte, they focused on the matcha flavour. If you want very creamy matcha, you can visit other store. Cozy places especially on the weekdays when only a handful of tourists come. Do not come on weekends if you don't like crowded places. They have other condiments to try with your matcha : different flavours of tiramisu, canele and other matcha themed desserts. If you want buy utensils and your own ceremonial grade matcha, they sell those too.

First time trying the matcha here; was very interested in trying out their tap matcha concept. We ordered their signature Kusumatcha, Kusuma Hojicha, and Strawberry Matcha. Absolutely delightful matcha taste, vibrant green with nutty-umami flavor. The sweetness was also balanced, not overly sweet and complements well with the matcha's sharp flavor. Price wise, it's also worth value to price; unfortunately, car parking is scarce so I'd suggest go by taxi or bikes. Totally worth the visit and experience!
