Wifi was terrible. I was easily 10 mins waiting for a 50 mb file to download, my Figma and Discord were barely working...

I love this place. Was working remotely out of Paris and needed a relatively cheap place to work in the city. The prices here are great. It’s no frills, so you won’t get the endless refill of coffee and cookies but you will get a table and solid wifi. Not the best location if you need to have continual calls since it seems more like a study room, however, but it worked well for me. Has several Paris locations so you can also move between them in different parts of the city.

Came here at late night to do my assignment for the whole night because I have an urgent deadline to meet and have to stay awake and focused. Very nice place. Not the best environment for sure given this price at this time, but the study area is clean (not extremely clean, but ok), warm (this is so important in this cold winter), bright and cozy with a lamp. Since it’s midnight, there’s almost no people, so it’s very quiet. If you look from the outside, you won’t realize it’s a study place because the windows are covered; and the door is heavy and locked —- I think that’s a very good idea, it makes me feel so safe. My biggest fear of studying outside at late night at Paris, is to bump into some drunk people, or being stolen especially I’m taking my laptop etc, or have homeless people nearby (I don’t mind them at all, but I can’t stay focused and study if that is the case). So this place really makes me feel safe, which is so important, a deal breaker. Would consider coming again if I have another urgent task

I arrived to Paris for two weeks of remote work and had a surprisingly hard time finding a coworking space with 24/7 access that wasn't full or required a long-term contract. La Pemanence was friendly, a great price and had everything I needed. I don't know what I would have done without them! It was great for focus time and calls, and I booked their meeting rooms when I had a presentation, which were also a very reasonable price. 10/10 recommend.

**Beware canceling your subscription and getting overcharged!** I unknowingly paid for 2 months of subscription at La Permanence and have been struggling to cancel my subscription ever since. I was unaware my 6-month subscription would automatically convert into a monthly subscription. This was my fault for not noticing at the point of agreement. I asked if La Permanence would refund me for the 2 extra months I didn't mean to be signed up for. They pushed me to pay, then said they could refund me and close my account. Then I still see those 2 invoices coming in, they've charged me AGAIN, and tell me I have to pay. Why tell me they will cancel my invoices, then try and charge me again? I have no idea, but unfortunately I lost trust in this business after spending 1K+ euros and was originally a happy customer for over a year. Shame because outside of this terrible cancellation experience, I would recommend La Permanence. But I really can't at the moment. Please, can you guys just cancel the invoice and delete my account? You already got away with charging my account for 1 of the 2 invoices I "owe" (but shouldn't have to pay due to shady subscription tactics).
