Lai Cafe @ Tropicana Gardens Mall

Strong coffee with the lovely ambience to match! This cafe located inside Book Xcess is a surprising place to get good coffee. Seating areas plenty next to bright windows. They only serve drinks (coffee and non) and some pastries - limited range but all you need to enjoy the books you've purchased. I can't think of a better place to chill than this spot where the smell of coffee and books linger.

First of all, the tables are dirty most often. The staffs don't clean the table and only if customers ask them to clean. Sometimes I have to clean it by myself. Nice hot chocolate brewed by the lady staff. The other male barista made it too sweet and the chocolate didn't melt properly... Anyways, Nice view too. Not too noisy. Hope they can add more seats and sockets. A lot of people here hoarding the seats for long long hours. Most of the time I go there, I can't find a seat, 😞 so I have to leave haii. Hope the customers there can be considerate a bit. Don't hoard the seats and sockets. The only reason I come here, is for the environment.

the drink and food are delicious, the place is peaceful and filled with people working and studying. the only con is that most of the tables are often not cleaned, crumbs and hair on the floor, cup stains left on the table. if that can be fixed, this place will be the perfect working/studying cafe

Environment wise ok , food really sucks . Nasi lemak used a bad quality rice , all stick together so hard as well as the egg . All food cold not hot enough , cashier counter take ages to collect money everyone has to stick in long queue

Good place to sit and do your own works. Table dirty most of the time unless u request to clean. The staff singing terribly loud that you can even hear with earphone on and could be quite annoying.
