Latibule Coffee

The Japanese kissaten feel was definitely there as I entered Latibule for the very first time. The hidden cafe gave me vibes of cafes of the 80s/90s. With its retro modern interior and oriental jazz (or even Chinese cantopop songs) playing in the background, I was instantly impressed and spent close to two hours there. Before you decide to go, bear in mind that this cafe only serves serious coffee and sweet desserts so fill your tummy beforehand. Peeking at their simple menu reveals coffee, tea, soda and desserts. We had their Sibeh Dirty Latte which was Sibeh nice by the way and hand pour coffee based on my preference - satisfied! Want something alcoholic? Order Irish coffee - they have it. Want something different? Perhaps HK style milk tea or Peruvian chocolate. Something sweet to go with your drink? Opt for their rum & raisin egg pudding - got kick in it. I've a newfound space to spend and hour or two while in Ara Damansara already. Spot the vinyl player that still working perfectly well - the music that you've heard is played from here.

The chill, dim vibe is perfect for slowing down and rewinding ❤️ whenever life feels too fast, I come here to calm my mind and find my pace again. It’s also a great spot to get some work done (they have plug points!), but please do not work here if it is crowded ! What really sets this place apart are the thoughtful rules handcrafted coffee, curated music and a keep-voice low ! 💯💯 The music, often chosen by the "bosshandsome" is a fantastic blend of jazz and 80s/90s hits that I absolutely love. And the coffee? Always on point. It’s clear they care deeply about quality This cafe is a true gem for anyone needing a reset 🔥❤️💯

A chill, dim and cozy cafe. Decorated nicely with classic songs blasting. Services were good. Staff were polite and attentive. The drip Sumatran coffee was good. Not too bitter, fruity taste and nice coffee after taste. The dirty latte was quite good. The cheesecake (earl grey) was normal: dense and delicious.

I recently visited Latibule and really enjoyed the whole experience. The moment I stepped in, I could feel a strong Japanese kissaten vibe — very nostalgic and calming, like stepping into a retro café from the 80s/90s. The atmosphere is definitely the highlight. The vintage setup, especially the vinyl record player playing old Japanese songs, adds so much character to the space. It’s not just background music — it feels intentional and immersive, making it a great place to relax and slow down. As for the food and drinks, the egg pudding was amazing — rich, smooth, and full of flavor. Definitely a must-try. The coffee was also very good, well-balanced and clearly crafted with care. Overall, it’s a cozy hidden gem if you’re into retro aesthetics, Japanese vibes, and quality coffee. A perfect spot to chill for a couple of hours and just enjoy the mood.

Food 4.5/5: They serve speciality coffee and desserts with quite standard pricing. I got an iced latte and their egg pudding. Coffee beans are fresh and has the strong dark roast taste. Egg pudding with quenelle was good. Thick and creamy without the heavy egg taste, not too sweet also. Both for RM27. Payment via QR and card available, not sure about cash. Atmosphere 5/5: Inspired by Japanese kissa cafés. Probably the best in PJ despite the limited space. They play records and change it regularly. - Highly recommend to go alone or with one other person as it's standard for a listening café. - Don't recommend for big groups to come, and children too. - No waiting time for me as I came at off-peak hours. Longer waiting times for ≥2 people.
