via GoogleFancying a breakkie for a sweet-tooth? Prefer a warm healthy sandwich? Is it freaking cold outside? Well, Lesecafé has get you covered! Although… the room could benefit a bit of heating in winter . Apart from that, which makes me go for 4 ⭐️ and not 5, cakes are delicious and toasts alike. Amongst the hot drinks the recommendation must surely go for the coffee with cream: a treat must suggested on cold winter days. Service is always friendly and English speaking, which always helps and there’s almost no waiting to be served. It’s all great till the moment you want to pay and are told by staff that only cash is accepted . It’s hard to imagine why in our time cards should not be accepted especially in places that target younger generations as Lesecafé also tries to. Enjoy a great meal here, but don’t forget some old school (this makes me go down to 3 ⭐️). PS: in coming days more reviews for equally good cafes supporting digital payments too

via GoogleHidden away behind the big 19th. century facades of the street, in a cozy backyard, lies a little gem: The Reading Café (Lesecafe). Being sheltered away from the main street, it is a small oasis amidth the bustling town. Besides the cute courtyard in the front if the building, the café has a beautiful sunroom in the back. It is stacked with books and you can find a peaceful place here to read and have homemade cake and coffee, but also little snacks and breakfast is available. In summer you can sit outside in the courtyard with birds tweeting and sometimes the red squirrel from the neighboring house peeks over the wall and makes the guest laugh. The staff at the café is very friendly, and you feel relaxed here. It is one of my favorite cafés in Frankfurt. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Frankfurt.
