The ingredients were fresh, but the whole dish was ruined by excessive salt, too SALTY. I just couldn’t finish it, though I was very hungry at that moment. Not sure if the chef was unhappy working on Sundays. Given the positive reviews here, this problem should not have happened. BTW, one surely should not expect the same kind of hospitality from this place as that in Japan. Hope they could improve in this regard.

It is very rare to eat a real Japanese food in Luang Prabang City, this time I ordered the fried pork chop set and Namman, the pork chop is very crisp, the chicken is very tender, the side dish is sweet, I like it very much, this is a Japanese restaurant that will make you come back

This is just about the coffee (which you absolutely shouldn't order). I ordered the "light roast" which was extremely bitter and had many fines... It was just undrinkable. The staff was very understanding as I returned the drink and didn't charge me for it. The coffee is pre-ground and made with a french press. I would recommend the restaurant to remove these "specialty coffees" from the menu or else grind them fresh and courser and brew with colder water to prevent overextraction.
