This is the kind of place to have a ceremonial moment, and not "just to grab a matcha latte on the way". Everything from the zen interior design and the stunning presentation of the drink inspires mindfulness. The UNKAKU Matcha is probably one of the best quality Matcha I've ever had (and I've been to Japan), it almost made me cry. Note that this place is accordingly expensive, where the cheapest option is their basic house blend (90,000 VND), and portions are small. It's as an experience worth investing in.

So I personally am not into Matcha but this pace was pretty cool. It is a content creator’s dream as the whole place has a really fantastic aesthetic and vibe. It’s quiet and air conditioned the drinks are a little on the pricey side (by local standards) but even I enjoyed what we got. The staff were very helpful with us making our selection as they walked us through our options and what flavours we may enjoy. If you like Matcha definitely worth a visit.

Delicious matcha and so many options to pick from! They can also help you if you’re insure, just tell them your preferences! Yes, it’s more expensive than other places in the city, but proper matcha powder is expensive! The interior design is also very nice and calming. Only when I was there there was an odd smell in the air, no idea what it was though. Their location in Danang didn’t smell like this so I don’t think it’s connected to the matcha.

We went here for the Matcha Workshop which was an absolute delight! Lyn told us all about matcha and hojicha and explained to us how everything works and about all the different flavours. It was a very fun and immersive experience, with absolutely delicious drinks. We also got a little dessert to go along with it. Afterward we got the opportunity to buy matcha or hojicha powder to bring home, unfortunately we didn’t have enough cash (cash only) so we will come back for that as I am excited to try the matcha practice at home 🙌🏼 Thank you Lyn for the lovely time
