MaHoRee city of music

You wouldn’t expect a jazz blues bar in the place like Chiang Mai but hey here’s one. The band was impressive. They could improvise between Bill Withers and The Carpenters. Drinks are not cheap, about 250 baht for a beer, 350 for a cocktail. Had a Negroni. It was good and proper. We sat in the back where it was open air because the music would’ve been loud inside. Still as enjoyable. Card payments are 4% extra FYI.

Great bar! Our local friend took us and told us that this place is run by the people behind North Gate Jazz bar. So it was no surprise that they had live jazz bands playing. And both of them were good. The drink menu is not too big. They focus on basics but do them well. It can get very busy. But they have a second floor and a garden area.

LOVE the vibes of this bar so much kaa, the drinks were great and appropriate priced. The live music was amazing, and I just enjoyed the atmosphere, lighting, moods, everything….. 🍹🧡

Decided to check this place out and ended up staying for 3 different music acts! each were different styles and all were so good. really great place and wasn’t crowded at all when i went. easy to find a seat

Great music! Good variety of drinks and nice flavor. Space is a little limited inside but there is an outdoor seating option and more space upstairs. Service is good and fast.
