So according to the staff this place has been around for 36 years & based on the quality of service & pastries I can understand why. The server that helped me was the most polite & patient person as they answered all of my questions. They gave lovely recommendations. The baklava was flaky and filled with lots of flavor, just a scrumptious bite. I bought a box of chocolates that I look forward to trying! I will say I agree with what of the reviews have said, it’s a bit pricey but definitely worth it. All I needed was a cup of coffee or tea pair with my treats. I will be back! 5/5 I highly recommend.

An absolutely beautiful bakery w/the best baklava that you will have anywhere in New York City. You can tell just from walking in they take such care and delicacy w/their delicacies, just taking one bite of that baklava had me transcending, much less how absolutely lovely the people inside were, making sure that I felt well taken care of while at the same time, ensuring a hospitable experience. No notes absolutely amazing, must recommend.

OU kosher parve Caramel shortbread made with semolina, topped with thinly sliced almond, soaked through with orange blossom sweet syrup. After reading the reviews I decided to order from this bakery. I ordered the pistachio maamoul and the assorted baklava and had them shipped. I’ve never seen such small maamoul nor have I or my family ever tasted such DRY, BLAND maamoul. Next we tried the baklava: some had the nuts that tasted like that were BURNT TO A CRISP; others were moist but NO FLAVOR!! ALL in with shipping l spent approximately $85 and none of it was edible or tasty so it went in the TRASH!!!!

The baklava here is delightful. Since my family started ordering these, Sunday morning coffee has never been the same. Love, love, love.
