Mehi, is the Tetun word for dreams, and this Café, along with the restaurant and boutique hotel is made of the best dreams (and food and service). The cafe serves the hugest quality coffee, teas and drinks, cakes and ice creams made from fresh local produce. The restaurant at the back has recently opened and is full every day. The food is the best in Dili and would rate five stars anywhere in the world. Very low prices for the quality of food and service. It is amazing that these businesses are non-profit funding the training of hundreds of your women and employment of all young women who work in them. All businesses work on the empowerment of women who live in situations of social vulnerability. “When you have a meal in our restaurant, eat ice-cream in our cafe, you are contributing to continue our fight for these young women. When you sleep in our hotel, your stay changes live.

If I had to choose one word to describe this place it would be 'cozy'. Although small in size, the quality of this establishment far surpasses its size. Service is touching the borders of excellency as all the waiters were friendly. Mainly desserts here, but these are some really sweet and tasty desserts. Only minus was that they didn't have the menu item I initially asked for. Decent prices and servings. Coffee is pretty good too, I had the expresso and it was simply delicious. Highly recommended.
