Minna no Cafe (km 5)

Very cozy and calming café with great service. Perfect for a quiet Sunday afternoon. Their spaghetti bolognese is my new favorite in the country.

This cafe is my sanctuary -- it's a lovely little shop, very comfortable and relaxing. Really good, chill vibe and perfect for people who who want to slow down a bit. I typically get coffee here and they also make a nice variety of cookies. Everything is very affordable. The staff are incredibly friendly and you can pick up some Lao sign language if you make the effort. This is also one of the few cafes with a wheelchair ramp, and I love the sense of inclusion that Minna No is building. I really enjoy coming here and always recommend it to people who need a quiet place to read or work. That said, it's also a great place to meet friends for breakfast.
