ive been back 3 times so i think that says a lot. fell in love with their super gao, creamy and umami shizuoka matcha latte. ive tried 32 home based matcha lattes and mlabo is def in my top 5 so far… the owner is super friendly and passionate about what she does. very fuss free and easy ordering experience too, please give them a try when in the area 😎

I’ve ordered from Mlabo 3 times now, trying different drinks each time and all of them hit the spot. The drinks are smooth, well-balanced, and not overly sweet even for the flavoured ones. You can really taste the quality of the matcha, and it’s clear a lot of care goes into each drink. The hojicha slaps too 🔥 Photo I’m posting is an empty cup - not for aesthetics, but because I genuinely couldn’t stop drinking long enough to snap a proper shot. That’s how good it is.

Matcha strawberry latte — honestly, this one really impressed me. The strawberry jam layer was super pleasant, not too sweet, and it paired so nicely with the matcha. The thickness was just right — not watery or diluted at all. You can tell the matcha is good quality: thick, smooth, and zero graininess. No weird bitterness either, just really clean and rich. It’s genuinely one of the best matcha drinks I’ve had. And in today’s pricing market, where drinks can get crazy expensive, this feels pretty affordable for how good it is. Definitely a win for matcha lovers. 🍵🍓

The iced strawberry matcha latte is excellent. The matcha taste is refined, and has a pleasant richness to it. The strawberry further complemented and provided a varied texture to the drink, without being overly sweet. I also appreciate how the owner is extremely helpful. She generously accommodated my taste preferences by switching my order last minute. The place provides a loyalty programme too which makes it worth coming back!

Super nice and premium matcha. They use quality powder and you can taste the difference. Owners are nice and friendly too. Estate is also in a lovely place and you’ll get some nice views from the stairwells. Highly recommend, you won’t get this price and value in overpriced cafes outside.
