via GoogleDrink was unique and creative. No extra GST and service charge, order via QR code on table. Nice music. Able to do work or study when there's not many people there (I went on a Friday at 4pm). There's a toilet too, quite clean. They also sell some merch.

via GoogleOmg randomly came in due to the raining, but I just discovered one of the best pistachio matcha! A lot of pistachio crunches on top, with pistachio foam, below is super thick matcha drink, with matcha powder sprinkled on top too. Really match perfectly and the biscuit comes together with this drink. Another drink that I had here was honey foam ice americano, that foam is crazy super good!

via Google10/10 for the Iced Latte (Oat Milk) 👏🏻😋 I randomly came across this café while searching for good local coffee around Chinatown, and it turned out to be such a great find. I ordered the iced latte to go, but honestly, I ended up really loving the café’s atmosphere as well. The coffee was smooth, well-balanced, and refreshing, and the vibe inside felt cozy and welcoming—definitely a place I’d love to sit down and enjoy next time.

via GoogleGreat looking coffee shop on the second floor offering some good views, good vibes and really good coffe and some sweets. We had espresso and the coffee espresso flight which is something like flat white singapore style 😀 and adition to it were cinamon rolls (gula melaka roll and cranberry roll)

via GoogleThis discreet, little-known café is tucked away on the second floor at the corner of South Bridge Road in Chinatown. It occupies a prime spot directly adjacent to the historic Masjid Jamae (Chulia) and just a stone’s throw from Mosque Street. Upon entering, the space is immediately defined by its atmosphere; contemporary rap music filters through the stereo system, lending the venue a modern, urban pulse. While the dining area is intimate, it feels remarkably cosy rather than cramped. The interior design is a masterclass in Industrial Minimalism, seamlessly blending functional utility with a clean, sophisticated aesthetic. The design prioritises openness and functionality, employing sharp lines and a thoughtful mix of hard and soft textures to create a focused yet thoroughly inviting environment. For my visit, I opted for a classic Americano. The coffee is prepared using a La Marzocco Linea PB X. The brew was impressive, demonstrating a sophisticated balance of flavour, a syrupy body, and a crisp, refined acidity. While the coffee is perhaps not the finest I have ever tasted, it is certainly of a high standard and a far cry from the worst. According to the barista, the house espresso currently features Brazilian Sul de Minas beans. This region is celebrated for producing coffees with a naturally creamy mouthfeel and distinct nutty profiles. In this specific cup, the bean's characteristics shone through with notes of toasted hazelnut and a subtle, cocoa-like sweetness that lingered pleasantly on the palate without any harsh bitterness. As I have yet to sample their selection of pastries and gourmet sandwiches, I shall refrain from evaluating the food menu for the time being. However, as a dedicated coffee spot, it certainly holds its own. Overall, Muro Coffee is an excellent sanctuary to unwind, relax, and escape the frantic energy of the crowded streets in Singapore’s Chinatown. It is worth noting that Muro Coffee has also expanded its presence to the Esplanade Mall, offering a similarly refined café experience along Singapore’s picturesque waterfront.
