Namusairo Coffee

Visited think hip coffee shop in a hanok after going to Gyeongbokgung. Tried the V60 which was flavourful so got their beans afterwards. The carrot cake was good. This place seems to be frequented by locals, with many buying a drink and working there.

Perfect alternative to busier hanok cafes around Seoul. The atmosphere was refreshing and the coffee was delicious. This cafe is serious about coffee and also sells their own beans. I highly recommend it to any coffee lover.

You know the cafe is legit when they invest in machine to do pour-over. The filter coffee was pretty smooth in a big mug. They also sell drip bags featuring different bean profiles. Don't be fooled that this is somewhat in a touristy area - this place is good for coffee enthusiasts. We went to a speakeasy bar in sinsa later that day and the bartender was telling us this way - no fluke. Oh by the way, the bathroom is really clean.
