Walking around Shinagawa looking for some coffee and simple breakfast. Came across this cafe so just give it a try. To my surprise… First let me talk about the environment, is a small cafe but pretty cozy. The table was well distance apart. Next will be service, the staff are friendly and accommodating. Food and coffee serving was fast as well. Maybe I came in too early, no customer yet. Lastly for the coffee, the taste was good and smooth but still not the best I have tried before. But I am impress with the ham and cheese sandwich , the cheese was good and bread was crispy on the outside and soft inside.

Nice and relatively spacious cafe. The hot cocoa and was not too sweet and was really chocolate-y. Sandwich and waffle were decent as well. There’s wifi here too, so it’s a nice spot to work for the day.

We were living near to NOG coffee for 6 years. It was my favorite coffee shop back then. We moved to a different country around 3 years ago but this time we're back for a nostalgic tour, staying pretty close again. The coffees / cappuccino / flat white / white black / espresso were always prefect and the staff was super nice. Back then I gave 5/5/5 stars for Food / Service / Atmosphere, but it looks like things have changed. Today I got a terrible cappuccino. It was super hot (I would argue that it was even close to 80-90C. The milk felt almost burned. The staff was unusually weird, felt like they don't like their job or just don't care. The day before (yesterday) we also stopped by and had a cappuccino but it was in a way off. We know "The Merry" their flagship blend pretty much, but it was weird this time. I hope the owners and the lead barista are reading these lines and they'll do everything to make NOG the place as good as it was 3 years ago.
