Oh Apong

Chill environment, friendly staff, and nice food. We ordered some drinks, ayam balut, nasi lemak, and the ice creams. We were satisfied with all of them! Some items on the menu were unavailable. Also, there’s less choice of food compared to other cafes.

Sooo good! I love the café’s ambience so much. The staff were very kind and took the time to explain the menu. The ice cream wasn’t too sweet, and the coffee had a strong flavor, just to my liking.

26.6.2025, 9.15pm: Soft cookie was good. Bombshell served with ice-cream was not bad. There's only one type of ice cream here so the ice cream on bombshell, signature apong and tropical tango were all taste the same except the toppings. Ice cream taste ordinary. Took away chocolate brownie croissant (taste okay) and chocolate hazelnut babka (not good at all, bun was quite hard and dry). It's located on GF, Emporis (same level as Jaya Grocer). Clean & nice place to hang out with friends. Only complaint is the high chair and table, chairs are too high for the table and causing patrons not to sit on them.

A cool respite from the heat! Cozy space that serves mains, cold drinks and of course, dessert a la gula apong - traditional sweetness from Sarawak. The O.G. (RM7.90) was perfection in a cup, not overly sweet and generously drenched with nestum crunch. It's not easy finding gula apong in Peninsula, so this spot is bookmarked for authenticity and nostalgia :)

A laidback and asthetically beautiful cafe hidden at the corner shoplot. Perfect for relaxing and spend time with your friends. I come to try their apong affogato, but the machine was not working. However, the coffee selection will not disappoint. I tried the apong latte and it was superb, not too sweet and silky smooth. The cafe is clean and comfy with plenty of seats. There is an outdoor space if you want to sit outside. There are also cakes and rice if you are hungry. But i hope the ice cream machine works when i went there again.
