Ossa Roastery & Brew Co

This was my favorite coffee experience in Penang and a must visit for coffee enthusiasts. The guys working here are super friendly and knowledgeable about coffee. I enjoyed talking shop with them. As for the coffee, the nutty espresso was excellent. Tons of flavor with no bitterness at all. They also serve a very peculiar that I hadn't encountered before called "Clarified Coffee," which is made using milk washed beans. The coffee itself isn't actually milky, but the washing process enhances the sweetness of the coffee in a really clean and pleasant way. For non-coffee drinkers, the strawberry milkshake was really good. It was extra creamy and had just the right level of sweetness. My wife and I both enjoyed it.

it’s feels like treasure hunt. we order the chocolate (locally from kelantan), the clarified coffee (recommended dor their unique blend using milk washing technique- with a hint of fruity taste) - easily become my fave- , latte and matcha tiramisu ❤️. the service is top notch, pretty latte art. the cozy seating area - they’re really turning old art deco house into home for everyone.

Ossa blend and Brazil in both piccolo. They are both very impressive I had to get another black to try their ethiopia beans! Great coffee!! Staff is really nice and friendly as well. Love the lemon poppy seed loaf🩷

I just visited Ossa Roastery on Armenian Street, Penang, and everything was so good! I ordered a hot latte, iced latte, two hot chocolates, and a Black Coffee topped with dried lemon...all delicious. I also tried their matcha tiramisu, which was super soft and really tasty. And the best part? They surprised me with free ginger cookies for the Christmas season. So lucky! Definitely a great spot to visit!

A great find for us. Friendly staff. Great coffee. The fruity coffee had a unique but nice taste whilst the non sour Ethiopian one was excellent. Had the unique strawberry tiramisu and it was simply delicious with generous portions of cream and 3 mildly candied strawberries on top. A wonderful experience.
