Pa Rang Cafe & Art Stay

Lovely place to stay in a quiet neighborhood of the old city. Primarily an Art Stay, (visiting artists, artists in residence.. ) Parang also welcomes other guests. I spent 4 nites there and loved my spacious room and the overall chilled vibe so much that I almost didn't want to leave! Bora is a great host and she also manages Thapae East, a super cool bar with live music, not to be missed!

Amazing value for money. Spacious, stylish rooms and a great location. Simple set up - perfect for our family of four enjoying Chiang Mai on a budget.

Great accomodation close to the center! Rooms are huge and freshly renovated - everything is brand new with modern amenities. Bathroom is fantastic, nice modern and refreshing design from higher end hotels - so much appreciated after couple of days on the road. Korean owner is an art curator and runs an occasional art cafe. Thanks to that the building has a huge patio with cool vibe. Great for hanging out. Highly recommended!

Our favorite place in Chiang Mai! Thank you to Bora for making our trip so memorable. Prime location, large rooms with comfy beds, great outdoor garden and balcony spaces. Hot hot water is limited but that’s common everywhere in Chiang Mai even in 5* hotels (just something to note). There is always something going on here, you just need to be open for it 😉 A stay that feels like you are living like a local, meeting other travellers and local people from all over the world who also live in CM. We didn’t want to leave, it’s somewhere that stays with you forever. This is not just an accomodation, this is a home. It’s exactly how we love to travel and we will 100% be back to drink with you to the early hours and enjoy the random little creative workshops in the day time. A stay for the curious, open minded and the kind. Thanks for everything.

I only went here for a music event. It was a nice gathering with excellent molam music. Very friendly staff with beer at reasonable prices. Also looks like it is a cozy guesthouse built with shipping containers. Very creative bunch of people there
