Excellent coffee and the service! They even told me the notes of today’s taste of the pour over that I have ordered!

Excellently made coffee in a really lovely setting. My flat white’s milk was a good consistency and temperature, allowing the notes from the espresso to be clear. The cookie was a good accompaniment to go along with it. The ambience though is quite special; they did an excellent job with the fit out on the second floor.

The staff makes all the difference! Not only has “Peer” created a very Zen like and artistic atmosphere, and not only does it present its clientele with a fine selection of specialty coffees but, most importantly, by selecting exceptionally genuine and friendly staff who are knowledgeable about coffee, they have managed to create a coffee shop ambience where people can easily communicate with each other, sharing friendship, knowledge and experience with each other, the staff and other visitors. Located within a minute’s walk of one of the old city gates near Dongdaemun this is a place well worth getting to know. Well done!
